Welcome back to the 2nd episode! Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss a thing.
Terri talks with her friend and professional photographer, Melissa Maillett about having a photoshoot in very public places in Manhattan.
To get through the discomfort, Terri makes a Classic Manhattan.
recipe: Add 2oz. Bulleit Rye, 1oz. Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters into a shaker or large glass filled with ice and give it a good stir. Strain into a coupe glass and add a Luxardo Cherry. If you can’t find Luxardo cherries try Trader Joe’s Amerena Cherries or use a maraschino cherry.
Melissa and Terri talk about confidence and loving Lizzo. Here's an article similar to the one Melissa read
Melissa gives some great advice on how to prepare for a photoshoot. Weirdly all the steps begin with P (Prepare, Practice, Present, but then we added in about 4 more) and Terri has a moment of acceptance.
Will Melissa be willing to turn the camera on herself and take on the Big Idea of having a photo shoot herself?
